I was tasked with creating the branding for Broccoli City's inaugural Breakthrough Women in Music & Media Dinner. an event celebrating 10 women making significant strides in the music and media industries.
Starting with a logo inspired by a provided mood board and run of show, I developed several design concepts, ultimately delivering a hand-drawn floral logo that was chosen for the event. The floral design was intentional. symbolizing the concept of "giving them their flowers" in recognition of their achievements.
Following the logo approval, I expanded the design into a comprehensive branding package that included:
Invitations: Welcome cards setting the tone for the evening with the hand-drawn floral logo and event messaging.
Dinner & Cocktail Menus: Beautifully branded menus that carried the visual identity throughout the dining experience.
Gifting Cards: Custom cards included in honoree gift bags.
Digital Assets: Custom graphics for sponsors and honorees across social and digital platforms.
Event Slides: Presentation slides displayed during the event, featuring sponsor logos and branding.
Logo Creation & Hand-Drawn Elements: Developed original floral illustrations that became the visual anchor of the entire brand identity.
Cohesive Branding: Ensured every touchpoint from print menus to digital slides felt unified and intentional.
Communication & Collaboration: Worked closely with project managers, iterating on designs based on feedback to align with the event's vision.
Cross-Platform Design: Created assets optimized for both print and digital environments.
I'm incredibly grateful for this project, as it was the biggest I've tackled to date and a pivotal moment in my design journey. As someone who typically designs for digital, it was deeply rewarding to see my work come to life in print and play such a central role in the event.
It was also an amazing experience to have influential women, making significant strides in their industries, interacting with my designs. Being in a space like that, despite moments of feeling underqualified, inspired me to push my creative boundaries and reinforced my confidence in my abilities.
